WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com
Andre at Georgia Politics Unfiltered - who, by the way, seems to be one of the few bloggers who is actually covering the actual convention, makes a good point:
To me, it seemed sort of anti-climatic to have a former President --one of only two Democrats to win the White House during the last forty years of the 20th century-- appear at the Democratic National Convention and not utter a single word. Not to mention that the Senator lost to the former President in the last closely contested primary before this year. It's an interesting way of looking at it.

Personally, I'm not sure what to make of last night's events. However, my gut instinct tells me that a former president has speaking precedence over a U.S. Senator...even if that U.S. Senator happens to be Ted Kennedy.
