Man, I hope they do something about those Greek columns... they seem just as misguided as the co-opted Obamafied presidential seal. I'm not a fan of the Invesco field thing to begin with. Oh well, there's always the speech itself, which I'm looking forward to like Christmas.

What about all of the columns at our nations capitol in Washington, DC?
And all of the columns at the state capitols?
The represent our nation and democracy.
Wait until tomorrow and see how it looks on tv.
Don't listen to the republican spin ;)

It's the Republican spin I'm worried about. The columns don't bother me personally (everyone points out that Bush had columns in 2004). We'll see how it looks, though.

They remind me of the roman empire and how the empire continues regardless which Caesar speaks in front of the columns...bet it Bush or Obama, the majority of people in the world have to answer to the columns in Washington before their own individual voice or the will of their communities. Get ready for another night of populist rhetoric from a man who doesn't trust the people he speaks down to, hence the votes for the FISA bill and for the Patriot Act, and for the Free Trade deals that the West uses to limit the freedoms and democracy of foreigners who happen to either live on top of resources or now how to work.

Forget Republicrat or Democan spin, I'm worried about the spectrum of the debate.
