Colorado Invesco winners notified this week

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

The Colorado Democratic party has announced that over 80,000 people applied for tickets to see Obama's acceptance speech. And the lucky winners will be notified by email, cell phone, or regular phone, by this Friday at 9:00 MDT, and have to pick up their tickets by the end of the weekend.

Things have been strangely quiet from the other 49 states.

Update: The NY Times says the DNCC is trying to keep tickets from being sold:

“We’re working with groups like eBay and Craigslist to prevent any fraudulent activity,” said Natalie Wyeth, a spokeswoman for the D.N.C.C.
...
As people do start to learn they have qualified for tickets over the coming week, the D.N.C.C. will deactivate the barcodes for any tickets that appear for sale on the Web, voiding them. That, of course, requires figuring out who, exactly, is selling his or her ticket, which can be difficult.
It's not clear why eBay and Craigslist would comply with the DNCC request. We'll keep an eye on this as tickets start being awarded on Thursday.
