WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com
It's actually hard to know where to start. As you've undoubtedly heard, John McCain doesn't know how many houses he and Cindy own. All of the press, they're mentioning the one in Phoenix, the ranch in Sedona, and the California condos. But theoretically, he's supposed to work in Washington, D.C., so probably he has a place somewhere around there, too.
Cindy may also not be clear on how many houses they own, since she didn't get around to paying all the taxes owed on the California properties. Certainly they know about the Sedona place, and if you're a subscriber to Architectural Digest, you do, too, since they did a spread on the re-do a few years ago.
And then, how do we count houses? I mean, I might say I own the house I live in, and the 30 houses combined in my 2 Monopoly sets. Some people live in tents, or under overpasses, so they might be willing to live in the million dollar parking garage the McCains own. And when we count the Sedona ranch, do we count it as ONE house, or several, since there is a pool house, a guest house, and heaven knows what else on those 15 acres.
Since John has certainly BEEN to all the houses, I don't know what is more frightening: the idea that he is oblivious to where he has slept, or that maybe he can't count high enough.
So let's guess:
And while we're at it, something else about John and numbers has been bugging me. He said on Saturday night that you need to be earning $5 million a year (US Dollars) to be rich. Do you agree?
