WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com
Today was such a monumental day that I don't even know where to begin. The day started at 6 am and we are not done yet and it is 3 am. Yikes! More to come tomorrow, with photos :-) In brief we saw (very close up as in within 5-30 feet away) the following: Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Cyndi Lauper, and Melissa Ethridge. It was a fabulous day to say the least!
What a speech from Hillary, way to unite the party!
Side note..Congrats to Ethan :-)
More to come .....stay tuned...

He lied repeatedly to American people: On Hillary, on Wright, on Ayers and on Rezko during televised Debates in the past 6 months.
They just don't trust him, period. That's why he is failing in the recent polls!

This is the first time that I have been inspired by a political candidate. He has plans to deal with the issues that are important to me - the environment and global warming, the economy, technology, the auto industry. The more I learn about him and his plans, the more I feel that this time, we have a candidate that will do something about lobbyists and the corporate control over our gov't.
The Bush administration represents the interests of BIG OIL, BIG PHARMA, BIG WALL ST. , etc.
McCain has said that the policies of the Bush administration work for America. McCain has voted with Bush 95%. These policies do not serve me or my neighbors and 90% of the American people.
So it's not hard to figure out. We have a great opportunity before us, this is a most important election. When I heard yesterday of Obama's plan to invest in green technologies and create 5 million TOP PAYING JOBS for Americans HERE IN AMERICA, I got energized. When I heard Michelle say that Obama wants EVERY AMERICAN to have access to a WORLD CLASS EDUCATION, I got energized (I have a very smart 11-year old granddaughter who would benefit by these plans), When I heard Hillary say that EVERY AMERICAN deserves HEALTH CARE, I got energized. Obama's campaign looks to the future of America and that's exciting. Obama is the leader we need to move America forward into economic prosperity again by INVESTING IN OUR HUMAN RESOURCES. Obama knows that a prosperous America depends on a prosperous middle class. He will, with our help, make sure that we move America into a prosperous future. YES WE CAN!!!!!

They say that America is not sexist, but women get paid $0.77 for every $1 a man makes for doing the same work. They say that America cares for its citizens, but only the rich can afford health care. They say that America will not accept any act of Genocide, but the Bush administration refuse to go into Darfur.
America is crying, she is literally asking for a "CHANGE" in the government. Democrats through Barack Obama will bring and make that "CHANGE".
Side note: I am so jealous of you being 5 to 30 feet away from the speakers. Only you can. Shadow sends her love.
GO DEMOCRATS- Alaska to the TOP!!!
