Joe Biden has always been known as a straight-shooter, albeit from the hip. (And as an aside, that Neil Kinnock lack of attribution story from 20 years ago -- he had used the anecdote more than a dozen times before and ALWAYS attributed properly. Once, he forgot. Guess which one they have tape of?) Therefore, before you write him off, remember that he might not have been the guy YESTERDAY, but today could be a different story.
