I wouldn't really use the Gallop traditional tracking poll. The gallup expanded is much more reality based.

GOTV. A little shout out to those getting out the vote in Georgia, Arizona, Montana and North Dakota. Neither candidate has targetted your state as a campaign battleground, but I get the feeling we'll see an upset in one or more of these.

I can't wait. I just got back from a two week honeymoon, which let me tell you is not the easiest thing to do in the middle of a 15 credit hour college semester, but I am still going to take friday through tuesday off to be in Denver campaigning.

Given the fact that I live in UTAH, a state that would elect voldemort if he was flying under the republican flag, and as far behind as I am in school (not to mention in credit card debt after my honeymoon lol) and I am still going to do my part for the GOTV, well lets just say nobody has an excuse not to be.

Also I wanted to point out that there was a dip in the national numbers for a week or so and it took a little why to catch up with that dip in some state polls (mostly florida it would appear). Now that there has been a little recovery in the margin, we should see that show up, hopefully, very soon in Florida again.

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone heard about that 2001 Obama interview? It got some coverage in the news today. Do you think it will become a bigger issue in the next few days? Can it damage Obama's lead?

NO !

At least NOT if those who it actually registers with are capable of dissecting information on their own ...

The audio was incomplete and completely taken out of context ...

Die-Hard McCain supporters will see it as more reason to spread that socialism crap ...

Die-Hard Obama supporters will disregard it ...

Undecided with good intellectual reasoning will see it as a desperate ploy by the GOP to take one more of Obama's statements out of context and will make their decisions accordingly ...

Right NOW we NEED to step up our efforts to GET OUT THE VOTE to make sure we DO NOT continue on the same path we have been on for the past 8 years ...

Vote for CHANGE ...
