Raleigh crowd estimated at 25,000

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

The Obama Campaign expected 20,000 and the NC Highway Patrol guessed 10,000.
They were both wrong (one more than the other). 25,000 people showed up to watch Obama speak and another 1,000 were turned away.

Carolina is going to be really close-- it looks like Missouri might be even closer

Yeah, I was one of the 1000. I went for a coffee and while I was comming back they ended security checks. Everyone ran in. Whei I got there, at the end of the line the police, who were surly, closed the gates. There were about 100 of us who were on line who got locked out. Kind of suc&ed!
