because John McCain will be voting for himself in AZ. so this person voted for Obama, therefore the two votes were crossed out.

I'm probably being paranoid...but I wonder if not following directions is an issue here. The instructions show a single line connecting the arrows. Surely the scanner is OK with filling in the whole arrow though, right?
