Opposing Parties

The latest approach by the McShame campaign (now working on a different track then the Spunky campaign) is to tell people that it's a very bad idea to put two branches of government under control of the same party. Therefore, his logic goes, "vote for me because the House and Senate are a done deal."

So this made me wonder, if people were going to split their tickets, who would be adversely affected more: McCain? The Senators? The House members? Both the House and Senate? Or is it more likely that people just plain won't buy into this latest salvo?
