Cabinet Watch: Napolitano for DHS, Pritzker for Commerce

Not a bad consolation prize for not getting Attorney General:

President-elect Barack Obama’s top choice for secretary of homeland security is Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, multiple Democratic sources close to the transition told CNN on condition of anonymity. - CNN

Also, multiple Democratic sources say billionaire Chicago businesswoman Penny Pritzker is Obama’s choice for commerce secretary. The sources say she will accept the job, which would be formally offered after vetting is complete. Pritzker ran Barack Obama’s record-breaking fundraising effort, serving as the campaign’s finance chair. - CNN

Update: Pritzker has pulled her name from consideration.

Pritzker IS NOT being vetted and has NOT been asked and she WILL NOT accept because of family obligations in Chicago - CNN said on the TV a bit ago.
