Clinton "on track" for Sec State

The chatter tonight is that it's now a done deal:

ABC News can report that former President Bill Clinton's financial disclosure issues that once seemed an obstacle to Sen. Hillary Clinton's appointment as secretary of state have been worked out.

An aide to President-elect Obama says that everything is on track for Clinton's nomination to be the nation's top diplomat, though an announcement will not come until after Thanksgiving. -ABC
President-elect Barack Obama plans to name Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) as his secretary of state shortly after Thanksgiving, two senior Obama aides said.

The officials said they expect her to accept. Clinton aides had no comment. - Politico
Also tonight, our thoughts are with Attorney General Michael Mukasey and his family; Mukasey collapsed during a speech Thursday night and was being taken to a hospital. - AP
