So, I get an email from the Congressional Inaugural Committee with a pointer to inaugural.senate.gov where there's a slideshow of past Presidents taking the oath of office, heavy on Eisenhower, Bush I, and Reagan in recent years, and not a photo of JFK anywhere to be seen. Or Carter, for that matter. What is this, run by Republicans?

Ah, it's headed by Dianne Feinstein and Harry Reid, Ms and Mr. Gutless. I wonder if they know what's on the site. Perhaps some Republican staffer getting his jollies.

They should have every President in there for whom there's a drawing or photograph.

pic2009 was working earlier this evening. They just went live today, so maybe they're having tech issues.
