Friday Morning, 5 AM

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

Over on CNN, vote and read the overall report card. Interesting what their readership thought. Over on Drudge, I am shocked, shocked I tell you, that AGAIN Republicans seemed to win the debate. For fun, check out who sponsored the Fixed News focus group. If you haven't, take a look at the comments on the Who Won? post below -- I personally think DCW readers nailed a lot of things that the pundits did not pick up on.

It looks like the bailout will go to the floor for another vote today. The bill went from 3 pages to 100 to 400. It has an additional $100 billion in pork. Calls to most House offices have moderated, but are still slightly negative, as per the information I got by calling 15 offices. Will anyone's vote be affected by the fact that last night AH-nold informed Hank Paulson that California may need an infusion of Treasury funds within the next several weeks? Passage requires 12 votes over the last try. Will it work this time?

Since McCain pulled out of Michigan, I just have to ask:

Brownie points to those who know from whom, and where, I co-opted this morning's post title.
