Uncle Teddy Returns to the Senate

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

It is with great awe and pleasure that I note the return to the Senate of Edward M. Kennedy. It happened yesterday, which also happens to be six months to the day that Uncle Teddy was felled by his brain tumor. He looks really, really good.

I wrote yesterday about the Baucus Health Care Plan, and I said it was a single payer system. In the comments, someone pointed out that news articles indicated that Baucus was opposed to a single payer system. I commented back that his plan was an interim step to single payer, and in both places, that the Baucus plan would undergo changes as it worked its way through the system.

Uncle Teddy is back to work on Health Care legislation. Welcome to the negotiations.
