OBAMA WINS!

WE'VE MOVED! Democratic Convention Watch is now at http://www.DemocraticConventionWatch.com

Dixville Notch, NH, that is:

Obama 15, McCain 6.

The last time a Democrat won in Dixville Notch was 1968.

Update: Unconfirmed: "In the New Hampshire Senate race, former Governor Jeanne Shaheen defeated Incumbant U.S. Sen. John Sununu in Dixville Notch."

Matt, Fred and coop....3 examples of people not being able to control rheir emotions for one more day like nobody on the opposing team may sense it.
As I've said many times, that's not me...I'm an Obama supporter all the way. However, I choose to use Doc Jess' approach and have my umbrellas and ponchos already packed to take with me in the morning...for "whoever"may want or need them. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would guess that the average person in rural NC would be more likely swayed by kindness from a neighbor than statistics from NH.

And for people taking things to the polls to hand out:
In the hot areas - BOTTLED WATER
In the cold areas - GLOVES
In all areas - hmmm... newspapers and magazines
And if you are a person standing in line to vote how about taking along a portable radio with batteries so people in line with you can listen to a news station while waiting.
Some one needs to write a short booklet with 'standing in line' voting tips for the next election ;)

of course. but the two are not mutually exclusive. And the average person in rural NC is not reading this blog anyway. I've had the debate with DocJess. If something said on this blog impacts the GOTV effort anywhere, that's a problem with the GOTV effort, not with this blog.

I whole heartily agree, I was just curious about the Senate race. I plan on challenging at the polls in my hometown then doing some GOTV stuff here. I wont rest until the polls close.

With all this pomp to be the first town's votes counted, I want to know why 54 people aren't registered. Are they all ineligible?
