Very interesting. Figures. How will the Hillary haters spin this one. The reason my Obama friends keep telling me he couldn't pick Hillary Clinton was (1) because she vote for the war, (2) because she was too Washington, (3) because he needed a governor, (4) because she was too tied to a famous name and he needed someone who was fresh and new in politics, not part of a political dynasty.

So Bayh? Bayh-Bayh to unity.

I don't usually do this, but I'm copying my comment from another thread, because it's most relevant here:

Don't get excited by this:

They have to have stuff ready for tomorrow's rally, but it's an obvious place for a leak, so I'd guess they're printing up stuff for multiple possible VP's. And they probably wouldn't do them all at the same place, because THEN the short list would be leaked. So I expect a few more of these stories will pop up if the announcement doesn't come soon.

Please, announcement, come soon... :)

Drudge could be the New York Post of 2008...

I don't believe it is is Bayh or Biden. They are too obvious given the attention they've gotten and they are Washington insiders. It completely steps on Obama's message.

I think he needs someone like Kaine. If he had to go for a Washington insider, while she's not my first choice, he should have picked Hillary Clinton. Why pick these Washington insiders that lack a base of support in the country. There aren't any undecided "Bayh Democrats" (except maybe in Indiana) but there are a lot of undecided "Clinton Democrats."

"Bayh-Bayh unity." That is funny. If Bayh is the veep, I expect more of that.

Obama supporters will say "Bayh, Bayh Bush and McCain." McCain supporters will say "Bayh-Bayh Obama." Love it!

Clinton supporters will collectively say, umm, "Bayh? We're still undecided. Bayh-Bayh convention bump."

I still believe it will be Governor Kathleen Sebelius.
Everyone is going to be shocked - especially CNN since they don't have a live stream on her.

I love the idea that all these things are mis-direction. I'm still holding out for Sebelius.

And thus the Drudge Bumper sticker story becomes the New York Post story of 2008. Awesome!
