Yes, I'm carping on geography again. You all know how I feel. This time I mean it: I'm done taking grief on state capitols. We all know that both McShame and Spunky don't know their countries.
But how low should this accepted lack of geographic knowledge go?
Should you know, say, that Alaska and Hawaii are not contiguous with the lower 48? Should you know that Florida is in the southeast, and Arizona is in the southwest?
See, if you don't, you might think that New Hampshire was in the northwest part of the U.S.
