News people, stop asking "how can Obama win this debate?" The question is not how he can win this debate. He is up by an average of 4 points in the polls. People are seeing neighborhoods and entire states turn blue that have not been blue for years. Obama knows what he is doing. Obama knows how to win this election, as well as this debate. He doesn't even HAVE to win the debate, just maintain the status quo.

The question is, how can John McCain win this debate? What can he do to take the independents and even some moderate Republicans back? John McCain has ALWAYS gotten the moderate vote, until now. We all know why, now how does he gain back his image and win back those votes?

McCain is the one whose abilities are currently in question, He is the candidate that truly has to show people something they haven't seen from him this election season. Obama has to just continue being Barack Obama. Being Barack Obama has transformed Obama from a complete unknown to the biggest political Titan in American politics. Why change that?

I was a hard core Clinton supporter that has switched to Obama and I am also a true Democrat.
It was a difficult switch, if Obama lost I am sure some of you would find the switch difficult also.
I have been accused by friends and others to not have a open mind at this point and never mind about their closed minds.
I am so looking forward to this.
I do not think he has to maintain the status quo. To accomplish his goals he needs to carry a large percentage of the popular vote, not just the electorial vote.
I know he can do this. I feel that is Obama's Goal.
This is a tall order which I think he will do.
He has already written history and I feel there is a bunch more to go.
Tonight I think is the start.

Rut Row! McShrub is flat-lining.

I'm not sure which channel everyone is watching but I'm watching CNN which has a graphic of Reps/Dems/Indies as they are rating the answers. Obama seems to be getting better reactions so far from those individuals. McShrub is for the most part flatlining.

Come on Obama, you need to point out and hammer home that McShrub is the one that allowed for degregulation for YEARS.

Jean, I didn't mean to say that he isn't TRYING to do more, and he shouldn't WANT to do more, I'm just saying that he doesn't NEED more. Also, when people listen to him and get to know him, and know the other side and get to know them... they have typically ended up on Obama's side. He needs to maintain his message and make sure the people know it. He doesn't need to change his message, just deliver his message well. McCain's message has not caught on, he is the one constantly changing his message, and he needs to keep changing it until he finds a message that resonates.

VETO EVERY SPENDING BILL. Really? When did you become Ron Paul Senator McCain. I don't recall you voting against all spending bills in the PAST 28 YEARS. When did this transformation happen?

Obama just got a larger positive response from Republicans than McCain did. =)

Watching the graphics, when McShrub attacks Obama McShrub's lines go down, but when Obama attack McShrub his goes up. VERY good news!
