Prominent Clinton backer and DNC member to endorse McCain
But the text says:
Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.Ms. de Rothschild was part of the DNC Platform Committee, but she was not and is not a member of the Democratic National Committee - which would have made her a superdelegate - which she was not.
And kudos to Ben Smith for quickly correcting his post.
